6 Mint Drinks for Summer
“Ohhh, thank you!” “I’ve been so thirsty!” “This is exactly what I needed!” “Yum, this is delicious!” “How refreshing!”
Who doesn’t love a compliment? With these beautiful, sparkling, refreshing drinks you are sure to get many compliments! The only downfall… you’ll not have a chance to sit and relax because everyone will be requesting refills!
First you will need a batch of my Mint Syrup. Here’s the recipe: https://sandeelane.com/mint-syrup-mint-julep/
Although I love all these drinks, I’ll start with my favorite:

Flower Print Wide Strap Tie Back Bikini Set
Cucumber Mint Cooler
Prepare cucumber water by thinly slicing cucumber and adding the slices to a pitcher of your favorite water. Leave this in your refrigerator a few hours or over night to infuse the water with refreshing cucumber flavor and aroma.
Fill your glass with ice, add 2 oz of mint syrup and fill your glass with cucumber water. Garnish with cucumber slices and a straw. Enjoy!

Strawberry Mint Lemonade Soda
Prepare a pitcher of pink lemonade (I used the frozen variety you can find in the freezer/juice section at the market).
Fill your glass with ice, add 2 oz of mint syrup, 3/4 cup of pink lemonade and 1/4 cup soda water. Garnish with fresh or frozen strawberry slices and a straw. Enjoy!

Orange Mint Soda
I find this tastes the best with an unsweetened 100% orange juice, rather than the sweetened drink crystals. I used an orange juice from a tetra pack, but the frozen variety or a carton from the cooler section would also work perfectly fine.
Fill your glass with ice, add 2 oz of mint syrup, 3/4 cup of orange juice and 1/4 cup soda water. Garnish with fresh orange slices and a straw. Enjoy!

Minty Lemonade
I made my lemonade with 1 cup of lemon juice, (the concentrate kind from a bottle in the juice section), 1 cup of sugar and 6 cups of water.
Fill your glass with ice, add 2 oz of mint syrup and 1/2 cup of lemonade. Garnish with lemon slices and a straw.

Mint Ice Tea
I love Earl Grey tea so I made a batch of iced tea using 6 cups of just up to boiling point hot water, 3 tea bags and 1/2 cup of sugar. Remove the hot water from the stove and add the tea bags. Let them steep 5 minutes only or the tea will become bitter. Cool before continuing. If you can’t wait and need to drink it right away just double the tea bags and sugar and add tons of ice to your glass.
Fill your glass with ice, add 2 oz of mint syrup and 1/2 cup of iced tea. Garnish with lemon and orange slices and a straw.

Mint Soda Water
Fill your glass with ice, add 2 oz of mint syrup and top up with soda water. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and a straw.

I always use paper straws since they are biodegradable and all end up in my compost.
